the story
Suāvis is a Latin word that means "pleasant", "sweet", or "agreeable". It can also mean "delightful" or "fragrant".
Suāvis is dedicated to the Saber-toothed tiger, or Smilodon, that lived in Brazil during the Pleistocene epoch, which lasted from 2.5 million to 11,700 years ago.
The first fossils were discovered in Brazil, and the genus was named in 1842. Fossils were also found in places in Turkey and North America.
Over 2,500 Smilodon have been uncovered from the asphaltic deposits at La Brea Tar Pits - located in Hancock Park (Rancho La Brea), Los Angeles, California, USA.
Its true appearance is uncertain. The exact cause of extinction is unknown, but it may have been due to climate change, competition with other species, or its reliance on large animals.
Timeless Flavor. A Sensory Journey.
